Scoil Mhuire had a wonderful day celebrating their Grandparents on ‘Grandparents Day’ which was held in our school on Friday, 3rd of February.
The aim of grandparents Day is to honour grandparents and celebrate them. It gives the children the opportunity to show love and gratitude for their grandparents. It helps children become aware of their grandparents strength, information and the guidance older people can offer.
Children from all classes performed songs, stories and poems.
The children brought in some delicious homemade baking which went down a treat!
